It involves two teams of eleven players each, aiming to score goals by kicking a ball into the opposing team’s net. Soccer is not just about physical fitness and skill; it also promotes teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking. Playing soccer can help develop coordination, agility, and endurance. It’s a great way to build team spirit, make new friends, and enjoy the thrill of competition.

It also plays a significant role in preserving local heritage, traditions, and customs by showcasing them to tourists and generating revenue for their maintenance.

It creates jobs, strengthens the local economy, contributes to local infrastructure development and can help to conserve the natural environment and cultural assets and traditions, and to reduce poverty and inequality.
